Qualified candidates, please attach resume when applying. Large global alternative asset manager seeks a Data Analyst within its Data Strategy Operations division. The candidate should have qualities to understand the operations groups' internal applications (Security Master, Front End Platform, Accounting System, and Reporting Tool). A good understanding of the synchronization and workflow of the different applications used within the operations group day to day is a must. Due to the volatile nature of this business and rapid technological improvements, the candidate would also be required to participate in testing phases during implementations and integrations of their internal applications and processes. While the major role of this candidate would be Security Master and Reference data management, a good understanding of the entire operational workflow process is recommended. Responsibilities: Assist with Reference Data Creation and Management Price securities using vendor pricing module and ensure PnL is correct Monitor PnL Issues between systems and investigate issues on a real-time basis Conduct detailed analysis on data discrepancies between various systems to identify root cause of data issues Interact with Technology teams to test and implement new processes Assist in the execution of Data Governance projects Create and monitor exception reporting Work with data owners to resolve issues Qualifications & Experience: 1-3 years of experience working with securities related data in order for them to be priced and reconciled correctly Knowledge of Security Master and Reference data Project management experience is a plus Some experience with Equities and fixed income securities such as Loans (Term, Revolving, Delayed Draw, Bridge, Private/Credit Agreements); Bonds (Corp, Gov't, CVB, Forwards); Credit Default Swaps (Index, Tranche, Single Name); Equities (Stock, Depository Receipts, ETF's); Forward Currency Contract; Options (FX, Index, Equity, IRS/CDX, OTC); Interest Rate Swap; Spread Locks; Total Return/Equity Swaps; Mortgage Backed Securities Appreciation of data quality, completeness, and controls Demonstrated experience in process improvements Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 base; depending on experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
