firm, seeks an associate with three to five years of insurance coverage and complex litigation experience to join the Financial Lines team of its Insurance + Reinsurance Practice Group in its Hartford, Boston, or New York City offices. Robinson+Cole has one of the leading insurance litigation and coverage practices in the United States, and is proud to represent leading US and international insurers across multiple primary and excess lines of business, including commercial property, commercial general liability, and financial lines. We seek a candidate with superior academic credentials, excellent writing and analytical skills, and large-firm or equivalent litigation experience to join our team. Law review experience and/or judicial clerkship experience is a plus. The ideal candidate will be expected to assume substantial responsibility for all aspects of insurance case management, including coverage analysis, drafting briefs on critical motions, managing discovery through the use of AI-powered tools, taking and defending depositions, arguing motions, and assisting in conducting arbitrations and trials. Experience in insurance policy analysis and litigating coverage disputes is strongly preferred for this role. Please note that all R+C attorneys must be admitted in the state of their primary office location. New York Applicants: Please note that the target base salary range for this position is $190,000 to $202,500. Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's class year, years of experience, skills, qualifications, and office location.
