Analyze and report on market events Produce research around a thesis or developing market narrative/meta Own KPIs including earned media, engagement/reach, Gauntlet researcher community growth, and email subscriptions and engagement Manage our anti-KOL army/ DeFi analyst partner program to grow a network of researchers covering Gauntlet, aligning, curating, and incentivizing independent researchers to write about Gauntlet’s products and build on our research Field and respond to requests from the media for research, analysis, and insights Ideate and create quantitative visualizations, turning our models, math, and data into storytelling Qualifications
3-5 years of relevant experience in DeFi research, content, and/or data analysis Fluent in data/analytics tools including but not limited to: Hex, Dune, Flipside, crypto market data APIs, DeFi Llama, Token Terminal, Nansen, Arkham, Github, Gitbook Strong knowledge of tokenomics, smart contracts, ability to write complex SQL/Python queries and create data tables and visualizations, and common metrics (TVL, FDV, liquidity and risk metrics, etc.), protocol design Familiarity with both EVM and non-EVM chains and infrastructure You’ve worked in crypto: at a protocol, exchange, or as part of a community Track record of success with a portfolio of writing, data analysis, and market commentary You are terminally online, obsessed with CT and other crypto-native social channels You understand DeFi and crypto culture as a member and participant Extremely deep respect and knowledge of operational security best practices Concise, compelling storyteller Bonus Points

The national pay range for this role is $130,000 - $175,000 plus additional On Target Earnings potential by level and equity in the company. Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for a company of our size and industry, and are one part of many compensation, benefits and other reward opportunities we provide.
