Geode Capital Management, LLC is seeking a Principal Solutions Engineer. The Principal Solutions Engineer will provide front line support for Geode’s trading technologies and actively contribute to a variety of areas, including: support and configuration of order management and trading technologies. BA/QA tasks specific to OMS. Support and configuration of proprietary Linux and Java application servers used by Portfolio Managers, Traders, Operations and Compliance; support of daily batch processes; and liaison with other technology areas and business teams to triage and resolve issues.
This is a hybrid work environment opportunity located in Boston, Massachusetts with a weekly in office schedule of Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and remote work availability on Mondays and Fridays.
Responsibilities:
- Support business teams using Charles River Development order and trade management technologies
- Perform administration, configuration and general maintenance of Charles River Development order and trade management technologies, including FIX, CTM, GTSS and EMS platforms
- Participate in the development and on-going refinement, enhancement and continuous process improvement of Charles River based order and trade management technologies
- Assist in the development, configuration, testing, training and deployment of proprietary and vendor application releases and patches
- Assist with Business Continuity planning and testing
- Partner with other Technology groups to ensure quality standards are met
- Support business teams using proprietary and vendor applications
Skills You Bring:
- 6+ years of hands-on front office asset management technology experience
- 3+ years of experience supporting and maintaining CRD IMS v18-v24, including Workbench, Trading, Compliance, Post-Trade, FIX, CTM, Tradenexus, etc.
- Experience configuring job schedulers, Quartz/Tidal/Autosys experience preferred but not required
- Strong knowledge in SQL and relational database concepts; MS SQL Server preferred
- Understanding application release management and CI/CD processes
- Understanding of public cloud technologies
- Client focused, committed to excellence, strong attention to detail and a team player
- Self-starter with ability to work independently or across technology and business units.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Proactive and analytical with strong problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to work under pressure in a mission critical operations and technology support environment
- Proven ability to partner with internal departments to deliver superior services
