Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, is looking to hire a mid-level Patent Litigation Associate in the Intellectual Property and Technology group located in Chicago or Minneapolis. This position will assist with patent, trademark and copyright litigation matters. The role will include handling all aspects of litigation, including drafting complaints, managing discovery, preparing contentions, taking depositions, and preparing dispositive motions and settlement agreements. GT is seeking a motivated self-starter, who works well on a team, and is looking for experience taking ownership over key aspects of cases and learning to be a leader from early on. We offer competitive compensation and an excellent benefits package. Candidates should have 3-4 years of litigation experience. Must have experience with all aspects of litigation including managing written discovery, brief writing, deposition taking and/or preparation. Patent bar eligibility required. This qualified individual must possess excellent academic credentials as well as strong legal research, writing and analytical skills. Must be self-motivated and flexible. Prior experience at a regional or national law firm is preferred. Must be admitted in Illinois or eligible to waive in. The expected pay range for this position is: Chicago: $230,000-$310,000 per year Minneapolis: $215,000-$260,000 per year Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
