Thank you. This is a phenomenal opportunity for someone who has had exposure to the Investment Banking team who would like to be a Chief of Staff and advise on deals and strategy. A large Investment firm is looking for a Chief of Staff Business Manager to partner with two of their investment banking sectors. The role will provide a tremendous amount of growth and exposure - involves finance-related activities, business planning, strategy, and partnering with Human Resources and Talent Acquisition. The ideal candidate would have 5 plus years at an investment bank in a Business Analyst/Manager/Administrative role. Key Responsibilities include the following: Managed finance-related activities including revenue reconciliation, revenue analysis, financial reporting, banker P&L, pipeline oversight and projections, forecasts, annual budgets, franchise reviews, and expense management. Act as a proxy to the Group Head at meetings. Drive business priorities including client targeting and coverage, tiering, and league table accuracy and help strategize on business plans. Resolve issues and eliminate obstacles to deal making by leveraging relationships with internal partners, engaging on the risk and control forum, maintaining regular dialogue with compliance and legal partners and escalating issues as appropriate, understanding metrics and operational issues, and automating recurring management reports. Serve as strategic partner to Human Resources and first point of contact for performance management, compensation, promotions, headcount, hiring, and terminations. Coordinate with Talent Acquisition and Campus Recruiting regarding hiring needs. Develop and execute morale, engagement, and retention initiatives including new joiner training, targeted networking events, group outings, and verticalized staffing. Enhance business development by collaborating with Events Marketing for sector conferences, leading ad hoc marketing mailers, and managing group-specific philanthropy budgets for integral clients and charities. Participate in management meetings and deliver a wide variety of presentation materials and updates to senior management. Oversee day-to-day administrative and organizational duties including managing executive assistants, IT and facilities management, drafting and sending group-wide communications, implementing and ensuring adherence to firm guidelines and policies, driving banker completion of required training in a timely manner, scrutinizing operating expenses, and establishing expense reduction initiatives. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and 5-12 years of banking, management consulting, or prior business manager/analyst or associate experience is ideal. Easily adapts to change; versatile. General understanding of investment banking processes, bank operations, accounting, finance, and credit. Strong analytical capabilities, project management skills, and facility with technology.
