Salary Range: $83,199 – $105,463 Position Overview Newaygo County Mental Health is seeking a dynamic and compassionate Integrated Behavioral Health Services Director to lead a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering high-quality psychiatric and outpatient therapy services. This pivotal leadership role is responsible for overseeing our Medication Clinic, supervising outpatient therapists, coordinating services with the local County Jail, and serving as the Administrative Clinical Liaison to our psychiatric providers. Key Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership and day-to-day management of our Medication Clinic services. Supervise and support outpatient therapists, promoting best practices and high standards of care. Serve as a key liaison between administration and psychiatric providers to ensure seamless, integrated service delivery. Coordinate behavioral health services for individuals involved with the County Jail system. Develop, implement, and monitor clinical protocols to ensure quality, efficiency, and compliance with all regulatory standards. Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across clinical teams. Lead initiatives to expand community engagement and awareness of psychiatric and outpatient services. Foster ongoing professional growth and development within the team. Qualifications Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in social work, psychology, nursing, or a related human services field, with coursework in abnormal psychology. Current Michigan licensure as LMSW, LPC, or LLP. Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in a healthcare or mental health setting, preferably including medication management and outpatient therapy. Strong working knowledge of clinical practices, psychiatric services, Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT), and Substance Use Disorder treatment. Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Valid Michigan driver’s license. A commitment to equity, integrity, and compassionate, client-centered care. Newaygo CMH is located in White Cloud, Michigan "Where the North Begins and the Pure Waters Flow". We are just a 50 minute drive North of Grand Rapids or Muskegon or a 30 minute drive from Big Rapids and just over 1 hour drive from Ludington. Prevention, wellness, and recovery programs are our core components in the provision of person/family-centered integrated services. We recognize that our clinicians need support and training in evidence-based practices to be successful and feel confident in their role. Newaygo CMH provides paid training for clinicians to obtain certification in EBPs such as EMDR, DBT, TF-CBT, and CAADC. Along with paid training, we offer on-site licensure supervision, as well as intense clinical supervision with experienced supervisors, who are extremely competent, compassionate, and have extensive knowledge working with the client population as well as in the CMH system.
