We are looking for a dynamic experienced senior sales director with the drive to accelerate the growth of business by generating large scale engagements ensuring success for customers and IPI. The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial with a laser focus on strategic and financial goals. The candidate must also have the ability to engender trust and credibility, understand customer business and operational challenges and articulate solutions benefiting both the customer and IP Infusion. In this role you will develop a base of new business and recruit new clients. You will have a broad sphere of influence engaging with executives, middle management and engineering teams or IT departments globally. In the senior role you will be responsible to develop the GTM for your territory and manage your accounts so company strategy and expectations can be met. Requirements: Ability to develop and execute the local sales strategy within the overall IP Infusion worldwide go to market strategy. Embracing a “direct” and “indirect” sales model to meet IP Infusion goals. Proven track record of sales in India. Bilingual (English). 15-20 years of experience selling to Tier 3 / tier 2 services providers and tier 1’s in the telco market segment. Broad understanding of the Telecommunications market (including Government and Public segments) and familiar with key local Systems Integrators. Selling networking equipment (Switches / routers) and or networking SW. Broad understanding in Datacenter and ISP markets. Broad experience working with and selling to Channels (in SAARC). Experience in Telecom, Wireless Carriers, ISP’s, Datacenters and or Cable industry. Must have knowledge of IP networking architecture and concepts to include 1) Routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, IS-IS and similar protocols. 2) Layer 2 protocols such as xSTP, Trill, data center bridging and MPLS. Software defined networking (SDN) and open compute / whitebox (Edgecore / Ufispace) and open-networking concepts. Manage RFx inside IP Infusion so all criteria are met and a successful submission is guaranteed. Drive RFx to successful closure with customers. Must have strong executive presence with excellent communication skills. Must have reporting skills so market development and opportunity status can be communicated in a professional manner. Outstanding references are mandatory. Frequent travel is part of the job. Desired: Team player and leader. Individual should be self-starter! Hunter and hands-on. Worked for companies like Juniper, Cisco, Ciena, Adtran, Nokia, Calix, DZS, Arista. Disaggregation experience is a plus. A personal network that is within our target market and customer base is also a plus. Experience selling multimillion, multiyear engagements. Engineering degree (BSCS or BSEE) or experience in software engineering is a plus.
