Summary:
Sr Network Administrator
What Will You Do? •We are seeking a skilled Network Administrator to manage and maintain our organization's network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. •This role is responsible for the day-to-day operation of our network systems while providing technical support and implementing network solutions to meet business needs.
Core Requirements: •Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network equipment including routers, switches, and firewalls •Help monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues •Participate in network upgrades and expansion projects •Assist with documentation of network configurations and changes •Provide technical support for network-related issues •Collaborating with team members on various IT projects
Technical Expertise Required:
Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field •CompTIA Network+ certification or equivalent
•Basic understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS) •Familiarity with network hardware and software •Basic knowledge of network security principles •Strong problem-solving and analytical skills •Excellent communication and teamwork abilities •Ability to learn new technologies quickly
Preferred Skills: •General network troubleshooting skills
•General network familiarity with Cisco switches and routers
