Overview
Infiltrator Water Technologies (IWT) is a market leader within the onsite wastewater treatment industry. IWT manufactures innovative, environmentally friendly products as alternatives to traditional wastewater system components. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Advanced Drainage Systems (NYSE: WMS).
Most of our products are made from recycled resins. We are among the top twenty producers/consumers of recycled resins in the country and uniquely use 100% of that resin in our finished products. IWT operates some of the largest molding machines and robotics for plastic production and holds over 200 patents, emphasizing our commitment to innovation.
Responsibilities
We are hiring a Maintenance Technician at our Winchester, KY facility, with skills in hydraulics and robotics. The position involves working a 12-hour shift on a 2/2/3 schedule from 7pm to 7am. The role reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor.
Qualifications and Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in plastic injection molding and/or hydraulics in a manufacturing setting preferred.
- Background in hydraulics, electronics, pneumatics, machining, welding, electrical, and print reading, with an emphasis on hydraulics and hydraulic controls.
- Knowledge of computer use (MS Office, CMMS software, 5S, Lean methodology) preferred.
- High School Diploma required; Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology or related field preferred.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs.
- Availability to work 12-hour shifts on a 2/2/3 schedule from 7pm to 7am.
Responsibilities Include
- Troubleshooting and repairing machinery, equipment, and facility structures to support operations.
- Handling hydraulic pumps and valves powered by up to 1000hp motors, electrical systems from 115V-480V, and supporting molding machines.
- Performing process troubleshooting, understanding machine controls, HMI, Fanuc robot interfaces, and injection molding processes.
- Conducting preventive and predictive maintenance following schedules and procedures.
- Working with electric motors, hydraulic systems, VFD controls, pneumatic and hydraulic cylinders, ensuring safety standards.
- Providing technical support for injection molding machines, auxiliary systems, chillers, water, nitrogen, and safety controls.
- Leading and training technical staff when needed.
- Participating in improvement projects to enhance predictive and preventive maintenance.
- Performing welding, fabrication, and root cause analysis to reduce downtime.
- Familiarity with OEMs like Engel, KraussMaffei, Milacron, Arburg, Fanuc robots.
- Reading hydraulic and electrical schematics and troubleshooting equipment performance.
- Working effectively in a team, self-motivated, and productive without direct supervision.
