We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Marketing Executive to lead our marketing efforts. Job Purpose / Summary
The Marketing Executive will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing initiatives that enhance brand visibility and drive customer engagement for a luxury jewelry and watch retailer. This role requires a blend of creativity, organizational skills, and technical know-how to manage digital marketing, social media, website updates, SEO/SEM strategies, email marketing, and print advertising. The Marketing Executive will ensure that all marketing efforts align with business objectives while maintaining the brand’s high standards of excellence. Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities Advertising & Media
Develop and manage an annual advertising plan across magazines, digital platforms, and newspapers. Develop creative ideas for additional media exposure, including outdoor and non-traditional channels. Collaborate with media vendors to place, monitor, and optimize ad performance. Social Media Management
Develop and execute social media strategies across platforms to engage audiences and enhance brand presence. Create and schedule unique and engaging social media content. Monitor social platforms, respond to inquiries, and manage community engagement. Ensure posts are accessible and optimized with appropriate alt-text and hashtags. Website Management / SEO
Oversee content updates, performance tracking, and user experience improvements for the company website. Regularly update and manage website content to keep landing pages fresh and engaging. Order and place images from partner brands. Add and remove inventory as needed. Capture and curate photography for both web and social platforms. Manage product cross-promotion by linking related items (e.g., “You may also like” suggestions). Optimize website content for SEO to enhance visibility and drive traffic. Manage blog content creation, ensuring articles align with brand positioning. Digital Marketing and Online Presence Management
Plan and execute digital campaigns, including paid advertising, content marketing, and online promotions. Maintain and update Google, Yelp, and other business listings to ensure accurate hours and contact information. Email and Direct Marketing
Develop and manage email campaigns to engage customers, promote products, and drive sales. Assist in producing high-quality direct mail campaigns, including the company’s annual in-store magazine. Create engaging email campaigns, some aligned with vendor requirements and others tailored for unique messaging. Maintain and manage the customer email list to ensure accurate segmentation and effective outreach. Design & Creative Support
Design digital and print collateral using Photoshop and other Adobe Suite tools. Assist in developing event invitations, brochures, and promotional materials. Vendor & Compliance Management
Attend vendor meetings (via Zoom or in person) and manage reporting and compliance as required. Charitable Initiatives
Develop advertisements for charitable programs. Organize and coordinate donations, collaborating with hospitality teams for event attendance and support. Marketing Analytics & Reporting:
Monitor and report on key performance metrics for digital and traditional marketing initiatives.
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Minimum 3+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in retail, luxury goods, or related industries. Strong knowledge of social media platforms, SEO, SEM, and digital marketing tools. Experience with website management systems (e.g., WordPress, Shopify) and email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Klaviyo). Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Ads, Photoshop (Adobe suite knowledge preferred, and social media advertising tools. Strong project management and organizational skills. Excellent copywriting and content creation abilities. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members. Knowledge of luxury retail marketing is a plus. A proactive mindset with the ability to generate creative marketing ideas that align with the brand's premium positioning. Competencies (Ranked by Importance)
