We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will plan, schedule, and coordinate the flow of products throughout the production cycle. You will ensure timely production planning, optimize manufacturing processes, and support internal revenue goals while maintaining product quality and on-time delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule manufacturing jobs to ensure seamless workflow on the shop floor.
- Monitor and analyze production cycles to identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Optimize equipment usage to enhance productivity while ensuring product quality.
- Develop and maintain production schedules to meet internal revenue and delivery targets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, supply chain, and quality assurance, to resolve production issues.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
- Generate and maintain documentation related to production processes and procedures.
- Monitor and report key performance metrics, including productivity, quality, and on-time delivery.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in all manufacturing activities.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of various operations disciplines, including operations, quality systems, EHS&S, Lean/Six Sigma tools, etc.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Exhibit a proven track record as a change agent, driving transformative change within organizations.
- Showcase strong financial and analytical skills, showcasing the ability to enhance productivity and profitability.
- Bring experience in working within a complex and matrixed environment, actively fostering an inclusive and engaging culture.
- 3+ years of industry experience in Manufacturing, Distribution, and/or Supply Chain (cross-industry experience a plus).
- Certification in Six Sigma or Lean is a plus.
