Trinity Health Medical Group (THMG) is seeking two full time (2.0 FTE) skilled and compassionate Maternal Fetal Medicine Physicians to join our Regional Maternal Fetal Medicine team in West Michigan located in Grand Rapids and Muskegon, MI. Maternal Fetal Medicine Clinical Physician:
- Provide specialized care in Maternal Fetal Medicine managing high-risk pregnancies and fetal complications.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including Obstetricians, Neonatologists, and other specialists to create comprehensive care plans and be their main source for referrals.
- Regional Physician providing services mostly in Grand Rapids with some travel to Muskegon as needed.
- Participate in the education and training of Medical Students and Residents.
- Assigned an MA, Sonographer, and additional support staff at all offices.
- On call will be shared with MFM Partner/Medical Director – mostly phone calls with hospital visits as needed.
Medical Director, Maternal Fetal Medicine:
- The Medical Director role will provide Physician leadership and oversight for our Maternal Fetal Medicine Service Line, while collaborating with our Administrative & Clinical Director for Women’s & Children’s Services.
- This position will be in a dyad relationship alongside our OB/GYN Medical Directors for Grand Rapids and the Lakeshore.

- Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Clinical Leadership: Oversee and lead Trinity Health Medical Group, Maternal Fetal Medicine’s service line ensuring the highest quality of care for complex maternal fetal cases.
- Patient Care: Provide comprehensive and patient-centered care for individuals with high-risk pregnancies including diagnostic, consultative and management services while working closely with Obstetricians, Neonatologists, and other specialists to ensure coordinated care.
- Program Development: Collaborate with other administrative and clinical leadership to develop and enhance our Maternal Fetal Medicine program. The Medical Director will be responsible and accountable for assigned offices and programs in the West Michigan market for achievements around quality, service excellence, colleague engagement, stewardship, and financial goals.
- Education and Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to Medical Students and Residents.

Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal Fetal Medicine.
- Medical Director position requires a minimum of 5 years of Maternal Fetal Medicine medical practice experience and preferred 2 years of experience in a leadership role or has completed training specific skills to work in the position.
- Clinical position is open to new graduate or experienced.
- Physicians must be board certified in their specialty, or board eligible and will become board certified within 2 years of becoming board eligible.
- State of Michigan license required at time of employment.
- DEA license.
- ACLS & BLS certified.
