Role Purpose:

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for actively managing warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving, to ensure the daily completion of tasks that are integral to the operation and overall performance of the warehouse. The role involves cross-training in all warehouse areas, monitoring processes, and assisting the Warehouse Team in troubleshooting to address unforeseen process events with urgency.

Accountabilities & Impact:

• Schedule staff based on volume demands.
• Train forklift drivers, administer practical tests, and certify operators.
• Establish operational procedures for verifying shipments, handling materials, and maintaining current inventory.
• Oversee activities related to shipping, receiving, inventory management, training, and safety.
• Mentor and coach warehouse team members, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, continuous improvement, and team harmony.
• Audit documentation to certify completion of inventory checks, quality inspections, sanitation, batch and blending production following SOPs, and basic maintenance tasks.

Skills & Experiences Needed:

• Associate’s degree in a related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Forklift experience with certification required.
• Proficiency in computer skills such as MS Office, MRP systems, Teams, OneNote, and email.
