Job Description
Role:
Project a positive image as representative for the credit union in receiving visitors, guests, and vendors.
Provide confidential, professional, administrative support for the Branch that includes a wide range of
administrative duties to be handled with confidentiality and discretion where required.
Scheduling appointments as needed and ensuring members needs are met with attentiveness and lobby
management
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
E 85% Greets, receives, and screens visitors, guests, and vendors in a prompt and professional manner.
Assesses their needs and directs them appropriately. May provide member lookups, balance
inquiries, and provide copies of statements. Coordinate follow through so visitors and guests
needs are met promptly. Assist in scheduling and/or arranging appointments, meetings, business
trips, etc. Maintain the calendar of events and schedules for the Branch. Keep lobby and work
areas clean, organized, and stocked at all times.
E 5% Check and maintain the inventory of regular supplies and forms so that the credit union functions
efficiently and without interruption.
Notify supervisor of need to order supplies or forms as necessary.
N 5% Process, evaluate, and distribute all mail, interoffice correspondence, and deliveries. Research
and resolve questions on proper distribution. Utilize credit union procedures and computer
applications that may include email, Internet, Word, spreadsheet, database, and system software.
E 5% Performs other job related duties as assigned.

3. Appropriately and professionally direct all visitors.
4. Accurately and promptly process mail and special deliveries.
5. Ensure correspondence, memorandums, reports, and other assigned communications are produced in a
timely manner, are accurate and error-free, and distributed appropriately.
6. Keep files and records current and well organized.
7. Minimal unplanned absences and tardiness.
Knowledge and Skills:
Experience: One month to twelve months of similar or related experience.
Education: A high school education or GED.
Interpersonal Skills: Work involves contact with persons beyond immediate associates regarding routine matters for the purpose of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion. Outside contacts take the form of service to the public (members or vendors), requiring ordinary courtesy in providing assistance and information.
Other Skills: Pleasant with others on the job and displays a good-natured, cooperative attitude. Answers calls, uses professional language, speaks clearly and distinctly, and relays information appropriately. Multiline telephone systems
