Are you an experienced OBGYN seeking a permanent position in Kentucky? We are currently hiring for three OBGYN positions near Louisville, KY. This is an ongoing opportunity until fully staffed, offering expedited privileges for qualified candidates with a clean malpractice record. Specialty/Job Information:
- Specialty Required: OBGYN
- Average Daily Census: Approximately 4100 cases annually
- Annual Births/Deliveries: 5400
- C-Section Rate: 34%
- Shift Responsibilities and Procedures:
- Responsibilities include unassigned deliveries, assisting with c-sections, covering OB triage visits in the Emergency Department, and providing delivery assistance.
- All typical OB/GYN procedures required.
- Must be comfortable with both OB and Gyn procedures/surgeries.
- Daily Patient Load per Clinician: Average of 11 cases per day for OB/GYN
- PICU or NICU Level: Level III NICU and Level III Plus
Requirements:
- Medical License State: KY - Required
- Board Certified Required: Yes
- Other Certification Requirements: ACLS, NRP, DEA, Boarded OB/GYN with 5 years+ experience
Shift Information:
- Shift Coverage Model: 1 physician in-house 24/7
- Shift Times: From 7:00 am to 7:00 am (12 hours regular + 12 hours call)
- Call Required: No
- Details: Physicians are in-house 24 hours per day, every day of the week
- Minimum Number of Shifts per Month: 5 shifts in a row
- Temporary Coverage Available: Yes
