Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Cleans and maintains breakrooms, restrooms, designated offices, and shop floors by sweeping, mopping, stripping, waxing, and buffing.
Empties waste baskets, trash cans, and scrap hoppers. Drives fork truck to empty trash containers on the plant floor.
Cleans bathroom sinks and toilets and replenishes restroom supplies in office and shop. Cleans drinking fountains.
Cleans grounds, picks up miscellaneous wood, metal banding, and other items. Sorts and disposes of in appropriate containers.
Washes walls, ceilings, windows and woodwork as needed.
Runs the walk behind and the ride along floor scrubber.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education & Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and six to twelve months related experience required.
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one.
Math Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers and common fractions. Ability to perform these operations using units of American weight measurement and volume.
Reasoning Skills: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
