Sign-on Bonus for Eligible OMH Community Residence Positions
Full time positions are now eligible for a $2,000 sign-on bonus, $500 every 3 months for one year. Part time positions are now eligible for a $1,000 sign-on bonus, $250 every 3 months for one year. New hires, rehires, and transfers are eligible for this sign-on bonus. (ELIGIBLE POSITIONS: Supervising Senior Counselor, Senior Counselor, Counselor, Senior Counselor/Family Support Specialist, Recreation Specialist)

Nature of Work:

This position is responsible for assuring that program youth are adequately supervised and cared for in a safe and therapeutic manner.

• Minimum requirement is a high school diploma and experience with children and/or adolescents with serious emotional disturbances. An Associate's degree is preferred.
• Must meet the requirements of the School Age Care, Day Care, and/or Mental Health Regulations regarding a State Central Register Clearance regarding history of abuse/maltreatment of children and Criminal History Review for criminal convictions.
• Requires a valid driver's license that meets insurability guidelines to operate agency-owned vehicles.
