Job DescriptionHo'olaulima Government Solutions LLC (HGS) is a Small Business Administration-certified, Native Hawaiian Organization-Owned, 8(a) Small Business that provides services and solutions in the areas of Environmental Services, Information Technology Services, Healthcare Services and Professional and Technical Services to the Department of Defense and other Federal agencies.
HGS is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Kina'ole Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit established to benefit Native Hawaiian communities.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Classification/Staffing: Assist in the preparation of workforce planning, including updating PDs to ensure accurate, knowledge, skills, and duties, competitive levels, designation codes and organization structure. Make service credit determinations, calculate service computation dates, veteran's preference determination and verify employee's performance rating
- Staffing - be involved in the process associated with the tactical recruitment phase, such as developing job analysis/essential task statements, processing request for personnel actions documents, assisting with large-scale recruitment efforts and ensuring recruitment request packages are complete and ready for action.
- Classification advisory - NAVFAC organizations are managing-to-payroll Commands. Provide advisory classification of positions using OPM position classification and job grading standards. Develop organization charts and develop draft position descriptions (PDs) for PAC including Standard PDs.
- PD development & review - work with the NAVFAC PAC area of operation (AO) hiring managers to update/consolidate/standardize existing PDs and develop new PDs.
Minimum Requirements:
- Working knowledge of how to write and develop federal PDs, staffing and classification, that are in accordance with OPM, OCHR, & NAVFAC rules, regulations, and procedures.
- Must possess a current secret clearance.
