Leading defense firm is seeking a Partner or Senior Counsel with Construction Litigation/Labor Law experience to join their thriving Manhattan or Garden City office. Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of litigation experience. Portables are not required.
Responsibilities:
- Handle cases from inception to resolution including preparation of pleadings, motion practice, taking and defending depositions and trial work
- Independently manage a caseload
- Make court appearances
- Communicate with clients and provide status reports
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of Construction/Labor Law experience
- Familiarity and knowledge of (NYS Labor Law 240, 241)
- Trial/trial prep experience
- Licensed to practice in NY
Salary Range 175k-250k (DOE)+ Comprehensive Benefits.
