The Privacy team is responsible for operating a world-class privacy program and building a world-class privacy user experience to the Airbnb community. Beyond maintaining compliance with global privacy laws, we strive to create user trust & differentiate the Airbnb brand with our privacy posture and practices.
About You
Experienced product manager with 3-5 years of experience building and shipping products/features preferably in the data/compliance/privacy space. Highly energetic, self-motivated, proactive, with creative and critical thinking capabilities. Possesses a deep respect and passion for protecting people’s data privacy. Has a sense of urgency for and commitment to Airbnb's mission of belonging. Hyper focused on stakeholder management and building strong relationships. Ability to perform under pressure to hit deadlines in an ambiguous & chaotic environment. Excellent communicator with the ability to manage audiences. Enjoys using data and analysis to identify and activate product opportunities/wins. Organized and motivated, with a bias for action and impact. Ability to work independently with limited guidance to help create structures and develop operational concepts.
We are looking for people who have
3-5 years of prior Product management experience - Shipping features (from 0-1). Excellent communicator - written, verbal, presentations (familiarity with Google slides and Keynote is a huge plus). The ability to influence a diverse set of XFN stakeholders through data, product insight, and great relationships and rapport. Knowledge & fluency with the following tools: SQL, Superset, Tableau. G-Suite - Google docs, slides, calendar, Gmail. Slack for primary work communications. Zoom for meetings (remote environment). JIRA and Asana for product backlog management. Knowledge and experience implementing privacy principles in complex technology ecosystems, esp. Data subject rights Automation. Some knowledge of EU and US data privacy legislations, industry practice and how they impact business operations and product design, could identify the potential impact/risk to business according to external regulations change. Bonus Points:
Experience within the Diversity and Inclusion space. 4+ years of program or project management experience. 4+ years experience in privacy, compliance, security operations and program management, preferably in a global B2C technology company. Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP), Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM), or equivalent professional certification is not required, but preferred.
Education:
MA/MS Masters degree or equivalent

Pay Rate Range: $75-$85/hour.
