This position involves recharging and testing portable fire extinguishers, along with general warehouse operations such as receiving freight, operating a forklift, stocking, inventory management, shipping, and maintaining warehouse tools and organization.
Responsibilities
- Recharge and test portable fire extinguishers
- Receive freight, operate forklift, stock warehouse
- Perform inventory counts and maintain stock levels
- Check in orders, maintain shipping supplies, perform shipping
- Organize and clean shop and tools
- Record inspections, repairs, discrepancies electronically or manually
- Maintain positive customer relationships and communicate with team
- Maintain equipment and tools for safety and efficiency
Skills and Requirements
- At least one year of experience
- Basic math skills including fractions, decimals, percentages
- Knowledge of basic computer functions and software
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Frequent lifting, carrying, ladder climbing, and physical activity
- Walking, stooping, bending, and crouching
