Registered Nurse (RN) – Med-Surg / ER (Full-Time, Night Shift) Location: Sandusky, OH (Northeast Ohio) ⏰ Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 3 Nights per Week Sign-On Bonus & Competitive Benefits Available Are you a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) looking to make a meaningful impact? Join our Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) or Emergency Room (ER) teams, where you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and supportive environment. About the Role As an RN in Med-Surg or ER, you will: ✔ Provide total patient care using critical thinking and clinical expertise. ✔ Assess, plan, and implement effective care strategies for patients. ✔ Offer education and emotional support to patients and families. ✔ Work collaboratively with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. ✔ Float between Med-Surg and ER as needed, maintaining flexibility and a positive attitude. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and document findings in Electronic Medical Records (EMR). Develop, implement, and adjust personalized care plans to meet patient needs. Administer medications safely and accurately following hospital protocols. Perform nursing treatments and procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address patient conditions. Communicate clearly in verbal and written reports to maintain continuity of care. Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and discharge instructions. Remain composed and responsive in emergency situations. Qualifications ✅ Required: Current RN license in the State of Ohio. Diploma in Nursing from an accredited program. Experience in Med-Surg, ER, or ICU. Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
