The Engineering team at Rainmaker works on our UAS, dispersion payload, and in-situ/remote sensing systems. As an electrical engineer at Rainmaker, you will work with Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) and novel in-situ measurement technologies. In this role, you will be responsible for the development and optimization of cutting-edge UAS platforms and innovative sensing applications. What You'll Do
Develop novel sensing paradigms and lead the electrical integration of our UAS Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including avionics, controls, and software engineers, to ensure seamless system integration Oversee prototype fabrication, testing, and iterative design improvements Ensure compliance with relevant safety, regulatory, and industry standards Document design processes, test results, and performance data Provide technical expertise and support to the broader engineering team Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical engineering or equivalent Proficiency in PCB design software (Altium, KiCad, etc.) Experience in prototyping, testing, and validating engineering designs Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate technical information effectively Knowledge of relevant safety standards and regulatory requirements for UAS operations Familiarity with PCB manufacturing Job Details
