Position Overview:
RAM Construction Services is seeking an experienced and highly organized HR Coordinator to join our team. This role manages daily administrative functions within the department and provides administrative support to other human resources professionals related to hiring, benefits, payroll, and other key HR areas. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, flexible, and capable of adjusting priorities. Primary Responsibilities:
- Support recruiters with onboarding, orientation, and recruitment processes.
- Collaborate with hiring managers during recruitment to ensure efficient hiring.
- Manage day-to-day administrative tasks, such as scheduling meetings, uploading documents, filing, processing employee status changes, and separations.
- Maintain employee records digitally and physically.
- Maintain HR Department email box serving as a point of contact, providing smooth communication with employees and timely resolution to inquiries.
- Assist with tracking HR information, and update internal databases.
- Assist with maintaining employee job description and updates.
- Assist with HR Handbook updates.
- Form I-9 tracking, auditing and maintenance.
- Assist with auditing of health insurance billing and support the annual open enrollment process.
- Prepare basic ad hoc reports as needed.
- Coordinate schedules for the HR Department, including meetings and events.
- Assist with organizing HR-related employee events.
- Assist with the Learning Management System.
- Assist with general HR inquiries and policy questions to employees while maintaining confidentiality.
- Contribute to departmental projects and tasks as required.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of administrative experience in a Human Resources or related field.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and OneDrive).
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on professionalism and confidentiality.
- Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced environment, adjusting priorities as needed.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small team.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and HR processes.
- The work environment for this position is an office environment.
