Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Director of Business Systems, the Business Systems Analyst gathers information and determines the best technological way to achieve a greater ease of process to support TELACU. The Business Systems Analyst plays a critical role in enhancing the efficiency and functionality of our property management software, Realpage, while collaborating with both corporate and field staff by streamlining workflows, providing training, and support troubleshooting efforts.
Essential Job Duties
Develop new procedures to streamline workflow, create new policies, improves systems by studying current practices; designing modification. Advises off-site staff in the use of property management software in conjunction with the Regional Property Supervisors, Regional Maintenance Supervisors, Resident Managers, and Accounting personnel. Promptly address concerns and make necessary adjustments to internal processes, as well as troubleshoot any issues that arise from the property management software- Realpage Onesite. Regularly update software systems and settings to ensure continued functionality and optimization. Trains field staff in the use of property management software in conjunction with the Director of Business Systems to ensure the software is utilized efficiently. Executes special assignments and tasks as assigned by the Director of Business Systems. Review and process Security Deposit dispositions in compliance with California Law. Respond to communications from the Accounting Department related to resident and subsidy balances by month-end. Submit timely rent increases to public housing authorities, ensuring they are at the maximum allowable amount within 60 days before the contract or tenant anniversary date. Generate rent increase notices for Managers (i.e. owner and HCD approved rents) at least two weeks before Managers must issue them to residents. Close all properties in Onesite each month for Accounting Month End/Year End Provide troubleshooting and setup assistance for Realpage/Onesite programs to ensure proper operation at the property level. Manage user roles, responsibilities, and access within the Realpage platform to ensure security and appropriate permissions. Other Duties

High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) certificate with relevant work experience required. 2+ years of with Yardi and/or Realpage preferred 2+ years of experience in property management preferred Knowledge of HUD multifamily housing regulations and property management preferred Heavy data entry experience with exceptional speed and accuracy is required Ability to handle multiple entities, multiple deadlines, and multi-tasks Exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail, prioritize, diligent, proactive, open-minded, positive, and focus Proven ability to be flexible and adaptive to fast-paced environment and with multiple different personnel Computer & Software Skills
Must have strong foundational computer skills including: Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook email and calendaring, Excel, Word, Adobe Acrobat, Power Point, etc.), and the Internet. Advanced ADP WorkforceNow user Advanced Excel, Word and Power Point user Realpage Onesite Super User Travel
Occasional local travel Must have a valid California Driver's License, proof of current vehicle insurance, and driving record that meets TRM and TPM insurer's criteria; must be able to use own vehicle in the course of work. Physical Requirements:
Constantly (6-8 hours per day) -Sitting, Using hands to finger, handle or feel (computer operation)
Occasionally (up to 3 hours per day)-Standing, Walking, Stooping/Bending, Reaching with hands and arms, Lifting of up to 20 lbs.
Work Environment & Exposures
Position may require occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles, vibration and loud noise levels. Will be exposed to varying weather conditions, soil, pollen, grass and plant materials and fertilizer while working; will be exposed to cleaning solutions of home strength; may be exposed to industrial strength solutions for pest control, paints or solvents. Hazards: Occasionally exposed to biohazards such as blood borne pathogens, sewage, building waste.
