Location: Copiague, NY Responsibilities:
Assign specific trades to estimating coordinators to obtain and level pricing. Obtain and level pricing on technical trades not assigned to coordinators. Review plans and specifications for RFIs and create scope sheets. Review and level proposals across all trades. Identify potential Value Engineering options and specification substitutions. Oversee leveling of all trades before presenting to management. Confirm Value Engineering options. Approve all scopes as written by the preconstruction coordinator for subcontractor agreements. Assist with T&M contract work, take field notes, and measurements for estimating. Educational Requirements:
Bachelors Degree preferred, or 5+ years of architectural/construction experience. Skill Requirements:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project Schedule, and Procore. Prior Experience:
Experience reviewing construction documents such as drawings and specifications. 5+ years of quantity take-off experience. 3-5 years in a managerial role. RENU is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
