Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled, reliable and action-oriented IT Technician to join our team in Midland, TX. This hybrid role involves working both from your home office and at client locations. The On-Site Support Specialist will work closely with our clients to close tickets and projects in an urgent manner, while seeking out additional opportunities to provide value. This person will spend approximately half of their time on-site with our clients, and is the face of our organization, becoming a trusted partner with those we serve. This role requires someone who is prepared, organized and documents their work in order to be successful. This role will also be responsible for setting up desktops and laptops, providing basic IT support, and assisting the Helpdesk team at the ROBO office as needed.
Responsibilities
Be available to travel onsite to various clients in Midland, TX
Remote Support from your home office: Offer remote assistance to clients for quick resolution of IT issues
Deliver, install and configure computers, laptops, routers, monitors, firewalls, etc. at client sites
Documentation: Create and maintain accurate records of client interactions, issues resolved, and equipment deployed
Work within ticketing system
Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure comprehensive support and service delivery
IT Support involving core business application and operating systems, as well as virtual environments
Connect with ROBO 3rd parties to help troubleshoot issues
Monitor calendar, email and schedule with real-time update
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support, preferably within an MSP environment
Experience working on-site in client environments
Ability to travel to client sites as needed
Problem-solver with an urgency to meet deadlines
Certifications in IT is highly preferred (A+ Certified, Network+, ITF, Etc.)
Ability to work independently and on multiple priorities
Experience with Microsoft Office required
