Hiring range: Min: $18.75 - Mid: $19.56 per hour
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Represents the Credit Union in a professional and courteous manner to members and potential members. • Acts as a primary source of product information for member and staff inquiries. • Fully complies with all SRP Credit Union policies, procedures, guidelines, and service standards, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and OFAC Policies. • Responsible for offering Credit Union products and services. Credit Union services are to be promoted using a member benefit- based approach to aid members in obtaining their financial goals. • Gathers all necessary information to process memberships, business memberships, and completes maintenance on deposit accounts. Provides accurate and complete documentation required for each account in accordance with established policies and procedures. • Provides Notary Services for members. • Successfully meets or exceeds sales and service goals set by management. • Assists members with fraud, discrepancies or any questions pertaining to their accounts. • Must be able to perform full teller duties. May act as liaison to help members through the Interactive Teller Machine (ITM). • May be assigned other tasks by appropriate line supervision.
Performance Skills: Ability to work with a team and/or independently, Organized, Ability to Multi-Task, Technical/Computer Skills/Experience, Self-Motivated, Professional Verbal and Written Communication Skills, Authentic People Skills (friendly, approachable), Detail and Goal Oriented, Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment, Relationship Skills, Active Listener, Adaptable, Problem-Solving Skills. Bilingual preferred.
Physical Demands: This is largely an active role, requiring use of typical office equipment such as a computer, printer, and vaults. Requires sitting for long hours and/or standing for long hours. Requires some lifting, under 50 lbs. Most work is completed in an office environment. Walking around the branch and addressing employees and members is required
