A wonderful opportunity has become available for a Surgical Services Assistant Nurse Manager at an exceptional award-winning hospital in Northern California!
This 340+ bed, full-service, hospital has achieved numerous awards and is known for its robust residency programs for Providers working with local Universities to provide exceptional clinical experiences.
Reporting directly to the Perioperative Nurse Manager, the Surgical Services Assistant Nurse Manager will be responsible for helping lead a skilled team of experienced RNs and Surgical Techs. The Surgical Services Assistant Nurse Manager will be well supported by OR Nurse Supervisors as well as Perioperative Charge Nurses, and Techs.
The Surgical Services Assistant Nurse Manager will assist the Perioperative Nurse Manager with oversight of both the OR and the PACU while leading a team of 50+ FTEs. The Surgical Services Assistant Nurse Manager will assist the Perioperative Services Nurse Manager with the department budget, inventory, staffing, and managing the logistics of the OR. In addition, the Surgical Services Assistant Nurse Manager will assist with staff development, hiring of qualified staff, and providing mentorship and education.
