Job Purpose or Objective(s):
The Sr. Database Marketing Analyst develops SQL code to retrieve data from the source systems, the construction of templated report shells, as well as the creation of automated reports for distribution. The Sr. Database Marketing Analyst also serves as the primary contact and support of the Player Development Department. You will report to the Marketing Analytics Manager.
Primary Tasks:
1. You will create Pro/Post Forma Analysis for the tracked database with a primary focus in evaluating Player Development impact on the business.
2. You will provide consolidated performance reports for database health with a primary focus on Player Development performance.
3. You will aid in the loading of event tracking data and sales goals into the player tracking software.
4. You will evaluate and make recommendations for players for inclusion in the Player Development hosting program.
5. You will develop complex SQL queries to retrieve information from source systems and create tables and views of data from multiple source tables.
6. You will perform query tuning and enhancements to speed the process of SQL reports.
7. You will create automation of reports using SSRS and RB3.
8. You will create monthly and ad hoc reports from the Accounting and Player Tracking Systems.
9. Other tasks as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
•Bachelor's degree in marketing, accounting, finance, business administration, or related field and three (3) years of database marketing/analytics experience, OR seven [7] years of directly related experience in lieu of education.
•Advanced Microsoft Office skills including, higher level functions in EXCEL such as Pivot Tables, sumifs, Nested formulas, V/H lookups, Macros, Graphing, etc.
•Experience with computer report writing and database inquiry software such as ACCESS, SQL or equivalent.
•Ability to read, analyze, interpret and make recommendations based on statistical reports
