Pay Range: $85 - $87 per hour on W2
Job Summary:
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, distributed applications primarily in Scala. You will focus on creating low-latency, high-performance services for real-time processing and optimizing multi-threaded applications for maximum efficiency. Your involvement will extend to the optimization of database solutions, development and deployment of applications in cloud environments, and the implementation of CI/CD pipelines for enhanced workflow management.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop scalable, distributed applications using Scala. Implement and optimize low-latency, high-performance services for real-time processing. Work on multi-threading and concurrency models to enhance application performance. Design, optimize, and implement database solutions for better scalability and efficiency. Develop and deploy applications in cloud environments while implementing CI/CD pipelines for streamlined workflows
Must-Have Skills:
Proficiency in Scala and experience with frameworks such as Akka and Play. Experience with CI/CD tools and Kubernetes for deployment and orchestration. Strong knowledge and experience in developing and deploying applications in cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
Industry Experience: Experience in developing software for cloud environments and familiarity with DevOps practices is essential. Previous work in high-performance computing or real-time data processing sectors would be advantageous.
