Senior DevOps Engineer (Cloud IaC) Chicago Remote to €150,000 Global market data platform for cryptocurrency is seeking a technologist Senior DevOps Engineer. As a Senior DevOps Engineer you will focus on cloud infrastructure, playing a pivotal role in the design, implementation and maintenance of highly scalable, secure and reliable financial data and trading platforms. You'll collaborate between software engineering, operations and security teams to ensure a smooth and efficient software delivery pipeline, sharing your expertise in infrastructure management, automation and deployment strategies to maintain high availability, performance and security of systems. You'll implement and manage automated CI/CD pipelines, set up monitoring and logging systems to identify performance bottlenecks and work closely with developers on performance optimisation, security and compliance. You will leverage IaC principles to automate the provisioning and management of infrastructure resources, manage and optimise cloud infrastructure within a multi-cloud environment, mainly AWS but also with GCP and Azure. This is a senior, hands-on, impactful role where you'll see the results of your work and can progress your career working with a modern tech stack with continual learning and self development opportunities. Location / WFH: You can work from most of the time, meeting up with colleagues in the Chicago office occasionally (must be within commutable distance). About you: You have achieved a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar discipline You have strong experience as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on infrastructure management within cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) You have a strong knowledge of Containerisation e.g. Docker, Kubernetes and config management tools such as Ansible, Puppet or Chef You have experience of building and rolling out Infrastructure as Code using Terraform You have experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab You have a good understanding of networking concepts, security principles and best practices You are proficient with monitoring tools such as ELK stack, Prometheus or Grafana What's in it for you: Salary to $150,000 Generous holiday allowance including an extra day for your birthday and work anniversary Remote, flexible working Excellent career progression opportunities Apply now
