Description Springpoint is seeking an experienced Director of Major and Planned Gifts to join our team! At Springpoint, this position is to advise and make recommendations to the Chief Philanthropy Officer regarding the overall organizational goals, objectives, programs, procedures, and policies, wherever fundraising and other appropriate activities are involved. Bring expertise to bear on all areas of development including planning, interpretation, coordination, implementation, and management of fund-raising activities. This position will cover the following areas: Morris County and Essex County. Responsibilities: Design, manage and implement the activities of the Springpoint Senior Living Foundation Major Gifts and Planned Giving Program. Identify, cultivate and solicit prospects for major and planned gifts from appropriate donors, community leaders, corporations and potential donors to support planned giving and endowment goals related to the Springpoint Foundation Major Gifts and Planned Giving. Develop and execute strategies to identify, research, cultivate and solicit qualified prospects for major and planned gifts in collaboration and cooperation with the Chief Philanthropy Officer, Foundation. Respond to inquiries and meet with prospects, including leadership, Springpoint Senior Living donors and community members, and their advisors in one-on-one or group settings. Develop naming opportunities and prepare proposals by targeting donors based on potential for giving and substantive interests and in response to inquiries. Conduct solicitations. Participate with the Foundation’s development staff to integrate major donor development campaigns in all fund-raising activities, emphasizing both major and planned giving goals and objectives. Education and Experience: 4-6 years of experience in the discipline of fundraising or a related capacity. Training and/or education specifically related to fundraising. Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation as this position requires travel to company communities. $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 / year + bonus eligible
