Responsibilities
The primary purpose of the Supervisor Patient Transport Services position is to supervise and monitor all dispatch functions using the EPIC Transport Module to ensure that service levels are met/exceeded for the transport of patients at University Hospital, DOC, ACC, and Cancer Center. Acts as the facilitator for 5 Star Services training. Qualifications
Associate’s Degree plus three (3) years of relevant related experience in a customer service or support services capacity, preferably in the healthcare setting. At least two years of supervisory experience preferred. Applicants may substitute additional related experience for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis. Proactive self-starter with initiative, self-discipline, confidence, and assertiveness to lead, encourage, and enable team dynamics. Skill to bring about positive outcomes via working through others. Ability to influence people positively, be a catalyst for progress, and make a decisive impact. Readily engenders confidence and trust and acts as coach and mentor to staff members.
