W2 OR 1099 Only. NO C2C / CORP-CORP / 3RD PARTY CANDIDATES. 12 month contract. Potential to extend. 3 days onsite. Client: Major state government agency. Overview:
Analyze customer business needs and participate in the planning, design, and implementation of new or enhanced systems. Supervise, guide, and/or instruct the work assignments of subordinate staff. Establish standards and procedures. This contract role focuses on designing and implementing scalable solutions that enable seamless integration between Salesforce and a state government system. The ideal candidate will combine deep Salesforce expertise with strong knowledge of government systems integration, ensuring robust data interoperability for grant management and financial reporting workflows. Role:
Design and implement comprehensive integration solutions between Salesforce and IES Gateway, ensuring reliable data synchronization and process automation. Develop end-to-end Salesforce solutions that effectively leverage capabilities for grant management and financial reporting. Create robust integration patterns using APIs, middleware, and ETL tools to establish secure data flows between Salesforce and state systems. Guide development teams in implementing integration solutions while ensuring adherence to both Salesforce and state system standards. Ensure solutions meet federal and state security requirements, implement proper data protection and audit mechanisms. Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate complex integration needs into technical solutions. Design solutions that leverage the system for streamlined grant processing, financial reporting, and compliance tracking. Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all integration components, including architecture diagrams, API specifications, and security protocols. Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field. Minimum 7+ years in Salesforce architecture and development roles. Experience with government system integrations. Proven experience with state-level eligibility systems or similar platforms. Expert knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities and integration patterns. Strong experience with API design, web services, and ETL processes. Proficiency in integration technologies (MuleSoft, SOAP/REST APIs, middleware). Deep understanding of government eligibility systems and grant management processes. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with government stakeholders. Strong project management and documentation abilities. Knowledge of federal grant management requirements is a plus. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies in government projects is a plus. Experience with DevOps practices for Salesforce (CI/CD pipelines, Gearset, GitHub) is a plus. Seniority level
