Description

The Mechanic maintains, installs, modifies, and repairs equipment used in Filling, Compounding, and R&D. Provides mechanical support on the production floor, assists with equipment setup, and contributes to continuous improvement projects to meet quality and efficiency standards.

1. Monitor and modify equipment for maximum productivity and quality.
2. Troubleshoot and repair equipment across departments.
3. Assist operators and other mechanics with setup and troubleshooting.
4. Maintain inventory of spare parts.
5. Train operators on equipment operation.
6. Assist in installation and validation of new equipment.
7. Perform general mechanical tasks to support production and facility needs.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Basic mechanical/technical skills and computer skills.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills.
• Education: Two years college or technical school, or three years of related experience.
• Basic equipment knowledge and strong math skills.

Pay Range

The hourly rate is anticipated to be $22.00. Actual pay depends on experience, skills, education, and location. The position may also be eligible for bonuses and benefits.
