Overview
Our client is looking for a Project Manager with 10+ years of experience implementing IT projects. The project manager is responsible for managing the project scope, schedule, budget, other project management artifacts and reporting to the internal Communications Division. The project manager will assist the Communications Division staff in responding to external partners and vendors, coordinating tasks assigned internally, and ensuring that all stakeholders are engaged and meet key deadlines. PMP Certification is desired. Experience with asset and/or fleet management systems is a plus. Process optimization, awareness of best practices, and change management experience is highly preferred. Must possess strong oral/written communication, problem solving, and organizational skills. Should have the ability to manage shifting priorities.
Daily Responsibilities: -Develop and maintain project documentation required by Procurement and internal IT. -Track and report on the progress and outcomes of major active projects. -Develop and maintain projects schedules and budgets. -Build and maintain effective relationships with project team and vendors through timely, accurate and effective communication.

KSA’s and/or Competencies required to successfully perform the work: Ten or more years’ experience with: 1. IT Project management experience. 2. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects including those which span 2-3 years. 3. Producing comparative analysis of value propositions, proposals, and cost benefit analyses. 4. Managing requests for information 5. Creating presentations that are clear for an audience with varied levels of understanding. 6. Proficient usage of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification: -Ability to successfully interact in a team environment and effectively communicate both orally and in writing across all levels of an organization. -Experience with asset and/or fleet management Cloud solutions is desirable. -Experience working in asset management, fleet management is a plus. -Considerable experience in software project management, and graduation from an accredited college or university with major study in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. -Combination of education, experience, and training, demonstrating the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is acceptable. -PMP and or VITA PM certification highly desirable.
