Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented
Vice President of Distribution and Sales
to
lead their expansion into the convenience store market
and drive significant year-over-year sales growth. This role is ideal for a highly motivated individual with a proven track record in the
consumer packaged goods (CPG) or tobacco industry,
who excels at breaking into new markets while strategically growing existing accounts.

They are passionate about quality, design, and creating unique experiences for their customers. As they continue to expand their footprint, we are looking for a leader who can help them introduce their brand to a broader audience through strategic distribution and aggressive sales initiatives.
Location: Denver, CO. Hybrid preferred, or willing to travel out to Denver.
Key Responsibilities: Market Penetration:
Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to successfully introduce our client's products into the convenience store channel, identifying key distributors and retail chains.
Sales Growth:
Drive aggressive year-over-year sales growth across all distribution channels, with a primary focus on new business development and market expansion.
New Account Acquisition:
Identify, pursue, and secure new distribution partners and direct retail accounts within the convenience store and other relevant markets.
Existing Account Expansion:
Strategically manage and grow existing accounts, identifying opportunities for increased product placement, promotions, and overall sales volume.
Sales Strategy & Execution:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies, including pricing, promotional activities, and merchandising initiatives, to achieve sales targets.
Team Leadership:
Potentially build and mentor a high-performing sales team as the company grows, fostering a culture of accountability, achievement, and continuous improvement.
Market Analysis:
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to identify new opportunities and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
Forecasting & Reporting:
Develop accurate sales forecasts and provide regular reports on sales performance, market penetration, and key initiatives.
Collaboration:
Work closely with marketing, product development, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and product launches.
Qualifications: Minimum of 5+ years of progressive sales and distribution experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) space or Tobacco Industry is required.
Demonstrated success in breaking into new markets and significantly growing sales year over year.
Proven ability to identify, negotiate, and secure new distribution partnerships and retail accounts.
Strong understanding of the convenience store market, including its key players, distribution networks, and merchandising strategies.
Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Highly self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
Ability to travel extensively as needed to meet business objectives.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
