Go to next pageOur prominent medical device client is seeking Quality Control Analyst located in Cabell County, WV. As a member of the quality control team, you will play a critical role in ensuring product safety, compliance, and performance through testing and analysis.
Shift: 1st shift (Mon-Fri)
Pay : $30-$37/hr
Type: 12-month assignment
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine and non-routine analytical tests using various quantitative and qualitative techniques, which may involve standard laboratory equipment as well as automated analytical instruments. This includes tasks such as preparing solutions (e.g., mobile phases, buffers), calibration standards, and other necessary preparations.
- Carry out routine and non-routine microbiology tests to support product release and environmental monitoring.
- Review laboratory data.
- Perform special testing as required by the laboratory's needs.
- Carry out basic maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment and instrumentation.
- Collect samples of raw materials.
- Clean laboratory materials and glassware.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in a life science field is preferred.
- Previous experience in conducting analytical testing within a quality control laboratory is a plus.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues is essential.
