We are a 108 year old family owned clock and watch retail and service company with three locations throughout Chicago-land. We have locations in Clarendon Hills, Orland Park and Palatine.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Horologist/Clock Technician at Chicago Clock Company located in Clarendon Hills, IL. The Horologist/Clock Technician will be responsible for repairing, maintaining, and restoring clocks. They will also perform diagnostics, disassemble and reassemble timepieces, and ensure accurate timekeeping.
Qualifications
- Clock Repair and Maintenance skills
- Horology knowledge
- Experience in repairing and restoring clocks and watches
- Mechanical aptitude
- Attention to detail and precision
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Experience with antique and modern timepieces is a plus
