Full-Time The Opportunity : The CFO will play a critical role in financial planning, risk management, cost optimization, and operational decision-making to ensure the company’s continued success. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in manufacturing finance , particularly within the nutritional supplement, pharmaceutical, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industries . This role requires a hands-on leader who is not only strategic but also operationally engaged—someone who thrives in a fast-moving, high-growth environment and can implement strong financial controls while supporting innovation and expansion initiatives . Key Responsibilities : Financial Strategy & Leadership : Develop and execute financial strategies to support business growth and profitability. Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and long-term strategic planning. Provide financial insights to executive leadership, enabling data-driven decision-making. Drive operational efficiency and cost-saving initiatives while maintaining product quality. Manufacturing & Operational Finance : Oversee cost accounting, inventory management, and production financial planning . Implement best practices in financial operations specific to nutritional supplement manufacturing, including raw material sourcing, production costs, and supply chain efficiencies. Ensure accurate COGS (Cost of Goods Sold) analysis and drive margin improvement strategies. Monitor capital expenditures and ROI for plant expansions, new equipment, and automation investments. Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and industry-specific financial regulations . Oversee audit processes, financial controls, and risk management strategies. Partner with legal and regulatory teams to navigate financial compliance in the supplement industry. Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team , fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. Establish strong cross-functional relationships with operations, sales, and supply chain teams. Drive the development and implementation of financial reporting systems and KPIs. Ideal Candidate Profile : 10+ years of financial leadership experience , with at least 5 years in a manufacturing CFO, VP of Finance, or Controller role . Strong background in nutritional supplement manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, food production, or CPG industries. Deep expertise in cost accounting, financial modeling, and operational finance . Proven ability to lead in fast-growth environments , managing financial strategy amid scaling operations. Experience with ERP systems, financial software, and manufacturing-specific analytics tools . Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business; CPA or MBA preferred . Why Join This Company?
