Job Title: Compliance Specialist- FULLY ONSITE
Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Duration: 5-Month Contract (Contract-to-Hire, Possible Extension or Conversion)
Pay Rate: $19/hour (W2)- Weekly Payout
Location: East Syracuse NY 13057
Position Overview: As a
Specialist, Compliance , you will be responsible for processing customer-mandated background checks, Motor Vehicle Reports (MVR), and drug screens for Last Mile contract carrier applicants and contract carrier employee applicants. You will also review the results of all background checks, MVRs, and drug screens to determine if they meet Last Mile criteria. This position requires badge generation and the use of multiple applications to complete daily tasks. This role is critical to the company's operational success.
Responsibilities: Review each applicant's background and drug test authorization forms and supporting documentation for completeness, accuracy, and usability, as required by vendors and FCRA regulations Obtain missing, inaccurate, or unusable documents from the appropriate Operations Manager Accurately place orders for background checks and/or MVRs using appropriate vendor websites Renew annual background checks and MVRs for all contract carriers and their driver/helper employees Review results of background checks, MVRs, and drug tests; determine pass/fail using insurance vendor criteria and company criminal background check matrix for contract carriers Communicate results to the appropriate Operations Manager via the Contract Logix program Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
Basic knowledge and experience with Windows applications and Microsoft Office Proven ability to accurately input and retrieve information using computer systems #INDMSP Preferred Qualifications:
Associate degree in Business Administration Availability to work additional hours as needed, which may include evenings and weekends
