Basic Function:
To maintain and facilitate the effective and efficient operation of all equipment and facilities at the Auria Holmesville, Ohio facility. Performs equipment maintenance activities supporting plant production and other duties as assigned by maintenance management. Performs all work safely and promptly, serving as a key member of the maintenance team, including teaching and leadership roles.
Specific Duties:
- Troubleshoot and repair machinery, equipment, and facility structures to support operations and production processes.
- Understand electrical equipment well.
- Proficient in mechanical and hydraulic systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems.
- Collaborate with Maintenance and Operations teams as a technical expert during shifts.
- Execute preventive and predictive maintenance according to schedules and procedures.
- Support process improvement projects to enhance plant operations.
- Assist, coach, and teach employees and apprentices as needed.
- Perform fabrication projects for continuous improvement initiatives.
- Follow all plant rules and regulations.
- Maintain a positive attitude towards work and colleagues.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Experience in pneumatics, hydraulics, and light electrical work.
- Formal education in industrial machine repair, maintenance, or electrical work is a plus.
- Basic fabrication skills, including welding, metal fabrication machinery operation, and industrial machining.
- Ability to operate fundamental shop tools.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and diagrams.
- Attend and understand all necessary training provided by plant management.
- Willingness to learn and develop skills.
