here. Position Overview:
Provide dental services to prisoners at assigned correctional facilities and other dental clinics. Services include diagnosis, operative/restorative, surgical (including extractions), and prosthetic treatments. Document and record patient treatment information per Dental Program guidelines to ensure compliance, provide patient care according to established standards, and maintain facility dental clinic operations at MDOC Dental Program standards. Possession of Controlled Substance and U.S.D.E.A. Registration is preferred. This is a test-designated position with direct contact and supervisory responsibility over prisoners for more than 50% of work time. The position is located 100% within the secure perimeter of a correctional facility. Pay Note:
The pay range for classified Dentists includes a 20% critical pay increase. Qualifications: Possession of a Doctorate of Dental Surgery or Doctorate of Medical Dentistry degree. No specific experience required. Michigan licensure as a dentist. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be evaluated.
