Job Requirements
At least 1 year of recent acute care experience
One year of travel nursing experience required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Dysrhythmia exam required (Study guide available)
Must be located at least 50 miles outside of the facility
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality patient care in Med/Surg Tele units
Float to other Med/Surg Tele units as needed
Manage patient care using Alaris pumps, Hercules beds, BiPAP, Trachs, CPAP, Chest tubes, and tube feeds/Kangaroo pumps
Care for patients pre/post HD care and CAPD
Collaborate with techs for strip reading/interpretation and phlebotomy
Work with 1-2 CNAs per shift and sitters
Maintain patient ratios of 1:6
