Provides nursing care under the direction of a physician and the delegation of a Registered Nurse in assigned areas in the healthcare system.
Qualifications
Education:
Current LPN licenses by Alabama Board of Nursing. Experience:
Fundamental clinical experience and/or previous employment clinical experience expected from a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Additional Skills/Abilities: 1) CPR certification or eligibility/capability to certify. 2) Able to work under the following conditions: contact with patients under wide variety of circumstances; exposed to unpleasant elements (accidents, injuries and illness); subject to varying and unpredictable situations; handles emergency or crisis situations; may perform emergency care; occasionally subjected to irregular hours; occasional stress due to multiple calls and inquiries. 3) Capable of working overtime as required. 4) Able to read, write and speak the English language.
