Department Overview
The Woodwinds Rehabilitation clinic, located in Woodbury, evaluates and treats children with a range of diagnoses from cerebral palsy, to treating children who may have difficulties with motor milestones/muscle control and coordination. They provide training to children and their parents/caregivers in the use of adaptive equipment in order to promote independence.
Position Summary
Responsible for the evaluation and provision of occupational therapy services to children; the accompanying written documentation and verbal communication needed to administer care including provider orders; provides patient/family/caregivers, staff, and student training; provides a safe, clean environment; provides proper care for departmental equipment; manages time effectively and promotes patient/family, provider, and intradepartmental satisfaction. All of the positions' duties are performed within Children's MN Standards of Behavior.
This outpatient casual position is based out of the east metro, with coverage opportunities primarily in Woodbury, Roseville, St. Paul, and Lakeville. There is potential for additional coverage across the Twin Cities metro, including training for inpatient care. If trained in inpatient care, the therapist will be required to work one weekend out of every four.
