ID/DD (Ages 30+)Responsibilities:

The Registered Nurse (RN) will:Work in conjunction with medical providers to ensure highest quality of integrated healthcare for people supported in the organizationReview, modify, and update the individuals plan of nursing care in accordance with medical diagnoses and treatment planAdminister medications, ensuring medication is given as ordered and documented accurately.Monitor effects of all medications and document as necessaryComplete all nursing assessments and associated documentation per agency policyPerform physical observation of the individuals and complete required documentation in a timely, accurate manner per compliance regulationsMaintain confidentiality of any information relating to the individuals in the program as per HIPPA guidelinesPerform other duties, as neededQualifications:Graduate of an accredited School of NursingNYS Registered Nurse (RN) licenseAbility to manage multiple priorities and ability to be flexible to meet the needs of the population.Great interpersonal skillsExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Strong attention to detailHighly organizedDesired Skills:Bachelors Degree in NursingExperience working with the differently abled populationKnowledge of OPWDD, DOH, or OMH state and federal regulations
