Draft correspondence, legal pleadings, motions, and briefsOversee paralegals, law clerks, and administrative staffComplete legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, and briefsRepresent clients in court to argue motions during legal proceedingsAdvise clients by weighing available options toward a successful outcome and plan a course of actionAnalyze client needs, identify solutions, and determine case strategiesQualifications
Confident and assertive, thriving in the courtroom and eager to engage with opposing counselStrong communication, problem-solving, decision-making, interpersonal, and public speaking skillsAbility to work independently while handling a heavy caseloadGraduation from law school with Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree and at least 2 years of experience in representing clientsCompensation
$120,000 - $150,000 yearlyAbout Gibson Herod Law
Our firm is different. Our founder is a former trial judge and 4-time Texas Super Lawyer. We handle sophisticated matters, work hard during the week but truly put family first on weekends. When the work day/week is over, your time off is your own. Our hourly requirements are reasonable and our compensation is competitive. We are open to percentage arrangements as well.Benefits
